Tsering Palden is a member of Tibetan Youth Congress since 1989. He graduated from TCV, Dharamsala in 1991 with a Science major. He has completed Bachelor of Technology Degree from Calicut University in 1995 and then Master of Science with Information System major in 2000 from Clarkson University, Potsdam, New York. He taught mathematics and physics for 4 yrs in Lower TCV before coming to the States. He is currently employed as a Senior Technical Analyst with a public company. |

Gyaltsen Norbu was born in Nublung Dhingri, Tibet. He attended CST Kalimpong from 1969-1971. He was in CST Shimla from 1972-1978 upto 10th grade. Later, for 10+2 he got transfered to CST Dhalahousie. He then completed his High School graduation in the year 1980 and joined (Special Frontier Force) and served 4years and 6months and got a special discharge for further studies with discharge certificate. He was a President of Boudha Young XI kathmandu Nepal from 1985 to 1991. In the year 1992 he was elected an executive member of TYC kathmandu Nepal designated as public relation officer. In September 11,2001 in NewYork he served as a Volunteer and was awarded "Appreciation Certificate" from American Red Cross. |

Ven. Sonam Wangdu was born in 1974. He became a monk at the age fourteen. He has been practicing the Dharma for two decades. Born in exile, Sonam Wangdue represents in true words and deeds the new breed of young Tibetans who carry the flame of freedom struggle in their hearts with an uncompromising passion. An alumnus of Upper TCVSchool, Dharamshala, he obtained his double diploma in acting from Delhi. During his stay in Delhi he actively participated in TYC activities and been to Tihar jail. He also lost his finger during a demonstration in 2002. He served as a president of RTYC Dharamsala 2004 to 2006. He is also known as an actor in exile community, and performed in We are no Monks, Phun Anu Thanu, and Dreaming Lhasa. |
